Morning Hustle

As an employee at Glenrio Smoke Shop, my day starts bright and early at 8 AM. I arrive at our Amarillo location to prep for opening. First things first, I check our inventory and restock the shelves with our wide variety of cannabis products.

Customer Service Excellence

Once the doors open at 9 AM, it’s time to greet our first customers of the day. Many are regulars, and I enjoy catching up with them about their experiences with our products. As a recreational dispensary, we see a diverse crowd, from curious first-timers to seasoned enthusiasts.

Product Knowledge is Key

Throughout the day, I field questions about different strains, consumption methods, and effects. It’s crucial to stay up-to-date on our inventory, which includes:

• Edibles
• Concentrates
• Topicals

Lunchtime Rush

The dispensary gets busiest around noon, with customers from Canyon, TX to Logan, NM stopping by during their lunch breaks. It’s a whirlwind of weighing products, processing transactions, and ensuring everyone leaves satisfied.

Afternoon Lull and Prep

After the midday rush, I take some time to tidy up the shop and update our online menu. We pride ourselves on being more than just a weed dispensary – we’re a community hub for cannabis education and advocacy.

Evening Wind Down

As closing time approaches, I begin the end-of-day procedures. This includes balancing the till, updating inventory records, and preparing for the next day. Before I know it, it’s 9 PM, and another fulfilling day at Glenrio Smoke Shop comes to an end.
